Advocate S. V. Abhang is founder of Lex Credence and has over the years developed, expanded and shaped Lex Credence to be a multi-disciplinary law firm with expertise and experience in various verticals of law.

He is an Advocate enrolled with Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. He has completed his Masters in Administrative Law and Business laws from Department of Law, University of Pune, and Bachelors in Law and Social Legal Sciences from ILS Law College, Pune. He holds a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from Asian School of Cyber Laws. He has succeeded in clearing the National Eligibility Test (“NET”) for lectureship in first attempt. He has been a visiting faculty at ILS Law College, Pune and MMM’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune. He is frequently invited to deliver lectures on various legal topics at Department of Law, University of Pune, Symbiosis Law School and other law colleges and institutes. He is also honorary member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (“IQAC”) for legal education of MMM’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College and has been contributing to improve quality legal education for students of law. He takes pride in wearing different hats by being an advocate as well as an academician.

He has worked as an advocate with the esteemed law chambers of Senior Advocate P. Narayan and later with the firm P Narayan & Associates before starting with Lex Credence. He has acted as an Arbitrator in arbitration proceedings and has also been appointed as Counsel for various litigation matters.

He continues to consult and represent individuals, corporate entities and group establishments, both domestic and international, for corporate consultancy and dispute resolution matters. Various public sector and private sector banks have empanelled him as their advisor and have entrusted him to represent the banks in their respective litigations. He has also handled and provided end to end consultancy for municipal and state elections to legislators and represented clients in election matters. His persona lies in strategic litigation, consultancy, solution-oriented approach and interpretation of law.

He has a vast experience in conducting litigation matters before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, District Court, Family Courts, Tribunals like National Green Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunals etc., Consumer Forums, Revenue Authorities and Quasi-Judicial Authorities. His work palette also includes commercial and corporate consultancy, arbitration and mediations, banking and conveyance.

He is largely appreciated as a mentor for budding young lawyers and is renowned as a dispute strategy advocate amongst legal fraternity.
